The Sanctuary Philadelphia
We have gone to Philadelphia once a month for four months, and people meet God every time. In 2027 we will establish a full church campus in the heart of the city.

God’s first assignment to humanity still stands: be fruitful and increase. On Vision Sunday, Jason Howard shared what The Sanctuary is believing God for next: our home, our people, new cities and the nations.
“And God said to him, ‘I am God Almighty; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will be among your descendants.’”
Genesis 35:11 NIV
Our goal
One million two hundred thousand dollars

This is what it will take to fund everything on this page. The number is ten times what The Sanctuary has already given away this year.
Some of what we are believing God for can’t be priced. We are trusting Him for that too.
Give toward the MandateWhy multiply?
We exist to host places where people meet God. Our vision is for the world to know Jesus through a community of passionate lovers of God who prioritize His presence and expand His Kingdom.
A seed holds the capacity for exponential multiplication. One avocado seed can become billions of avocados when it is planted, stewarded and planted again. Everything on this page begins with seeds like these: our faith, our service, our words about Jesus, our giving, our yes.
It all starts with the seed already in your hand.
“With God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26 NIV
“Everything is possible for one who believes.”
Mark 9:23 NIV
“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Matthew 6:10 NIV
In April we moved into 2828 Liberty Avenue, and God provided for every bill to finish the building. These upgrades are next. We don’t have the budget yet, so we are believing God for it.
We want people to leave not just having had a good moment with God, but changed and equipped to walk out their faith every day.

This church carries an apostolic mandate: people come, encounter God and are equipped, and then are sent to establish the Kingdom in other places.

A couple in Indianapolis felt God asking them to start a church and asked us to partner with them. The Sanctuary Indianapolis is up and running, gathers every Sunday, and we are continuing to invest.

We believe God is sending us to a few more cities. In 2027 we plan to hold revival gatherings in Washington, D.C., Boston and Salt Lake City to begin breaking open the ground. These are gatherings, not campuses yet.
We also have it in our hearts to establish a campus in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh. There is no concrete plan yet, but if you would like to be part of it, let someone on the team know.
We believe there is a grace on this house to carry the presence of God into places that need to be broken open for the Kingdom.
There is an open door for large evangelistic crusades in cities across Venezuela, a country that has been closed to the United States for years and is desperately poor. With funding, we can go. There may be more open doors across South America.
We do not have an open door yet. Part of our fundraising is to prepare, so that when the door opens we can go and hold events that tell people about the hope of Jesus Christ.
Our team is building online channels that carry our Sunday services in other languages, beginning with Portuguese. The software is expensive, and we want to raise money so more of the world can hear what happens here.
Already happening
Every one of these began with seed. A great deal of it was planted by people serving behind the scenes, week after week.
